KPMG is currently seeking an Associate for our Business Tax Services Alternative Investment practice.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tax-related tasks including tax compliance to a variety of clients that are hedge funds, private equity funds, venture funds, or other registered funds
• Participate in a full spectrum of assignments including data analytics using KPMG’s technology, creation of tax return workpapers and tax returns for alternative investment clients, and coordination of off-shore resources
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and sustain excellent client relationships
• Keep up-to-date on current tax issues and opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Accountancy, Master of Accountancy, Master of Taxation from an accredited college/university
• Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, computer science or data and analytics preferred
• Demonstrated quality service mindset
• Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
• Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
• Target graduation dates from December 2019 through August 2020
