    What is the First Generation Scholarship?

    Together the programs, funded by the RSM US Foundation, will award $270,000 in scholarships to 17 students this year.

    • Five students each awarded a $10,000 scholarship per academic year, for up to three years and $30,000

    • Open to first-generation college students

    Eligibility

    Qualified applicants are legal residents of the 50 states and Washington, D.C., who are at least 18 years old, full-time students with a 3.0 GPA or above at an accredited college or university, and two or three years from final graduation with a bachelor's degree in business or technology.

    Timeline

    • Applications open Dec. 1 until Feb. 28

    • Selections made in April

    • Payments made to recipients’ universities in June annually (for the next academic year)
