We are looking for our intern to work full time, June – August.
RSM has an opportunity for a highly motivated intern for National IT Governance at RSM who will work directly with various IT teams to support RSM’s modern security processes and technologies. You’ll be a member of a team responsible for preparing RSM’s team for Information Security assessments. You will demonstrate and maintain high standards performing essential duties below while fostering a proactive, efficient, and service-oriented work environment. Communication, critical thinking, curiosity, and overall professionalism are paramount as you will be representing RSM National IT Governance to effectively engage with technical and business leadership as well as external providers of IT services.
Essential Duties
Assist in IT Governance Lead with coordination and preparations for RSM’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) assessment.
Assist with reviewing the security posture of vendors and third parties. This includes reviewing filled out vendor security questionnaires, writing reports.
Support the maintenance and review of Information Security documentation.This includes policies, standards, procedures for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), federal regulatory requirements, and ISO 27001.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required: Good understanding of current technologies and technical terms
Required: Good understanding of information security best practices
Required: Knowledge of Microsoft windows administration and tools such as SharePoint, Office, and Excel.
Preferred: Good understanding of IT audit methods
Preferred: Basic understanding third party risk management
LEADERSHIP/SOFT SKILLS
Experience in team collaboration – Required
Excellent written and oral presentation skills – Required
Exceptional analytical and process development skills – Preferred
