    KPMG is currently seeking an Intern for our Business Tax Services Alternative Investment practice.

    Responsibilities:

    • Help perform tax-related tasks including tax compliance to a variety of clients that are hedge funds, private equity funds, venture funds, or other registered funds.
    • Support a full spectrum of assignments
    • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and sustain excellent client relationships
    • Keep up-to-date on current tax issues and opportunities
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Accountancy, Master of Accountancy, Master of Taxation from an accredited college/university
    • Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, computer science or data and analytics preferred
    • Demonstrated quality service mindset, and interest in a profession in tax accounting
    • Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
    • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
    • Ability to work extra hours as needed to meet client deadlines
    • Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
    • Target graduation dates: Winter interns from Summer 2020 through Summer 2021; and Summer interns from December 2020 through Summer 2021
