    KPMG is currently seeking an Intern for Firmwide Analytics.

    Responsibilities:

    • Use the latest data analytics techniques on large data sets to answer business specific questions
    • Develop industry and business-specific insights using internal & external data sources
    • Define data models to address various use-cases based on specific datasets
    • Create data visualizations and tell stories based on insights
    • Assist in rapidly translating analytical findings into impactful and actionable C-suite recommendations
    • Support a multi-disciplinary analytics team with a specialization in data engineering, machine learning, data science and data modeling

    Qualifications:

    • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative field such as Quantitative Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Informatics, Mathematics, IT, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
    • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above
    • Demonstrated quality service mindset, strong technical aptitude and critical thinking skills
    • Advanced Excel skills including formulas and pivot tables
    • Knowledge of one of the following data manipulation tools: SQL, Python, R, Alteryx
    • Knowledge of PowerBI or Tableau
    • Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
    • Work location may be in the office, at client sites, or virtual/remote depending on business need. You must be located within the U.S. when working remotely. Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay
