KPMG Spark provides bookkeeping services designed for small business owners. Our dedicated bookkeeping teams utilize our proprietary software to prepare client's financial statements by securely connecting to their bank accounts, credit cards and third party integrations and processing that information using AI, Machine learning and a rules-based approach. Our services help clients ensure their financials are up to date, their payroll is delivered, their taxes are filed, and - more importantly - our clients are freed up to do more of what they love.

We're looking to add a talented (and awesome) team member in our fast-paced, fin-tech services team at KPMG Spark to help foster an amazing level of service for our customers. This position is considered to be a crucial, highly important role at KPMG Spark.

KPMG Spark is currently seeking a Part Time Seasonal Marketing BPG Intern for our KPMG Spark practice in Tax.

Responsibilities:

• Support KPMG Spark social media accounts and initiatives, including but not limited to Blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
• Perform research to create original and relevant content and stay on top of social media and industry trends
• Write blog articles and advertorial pieces that cover tax and small business topics
• Collaborate with other team members and provide marketing assets for events, partnerships and marketing campaigns
• Use photography and graphic design skills to create infographics and other marketing materials

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Communications, or equivalent program
• Progressive marketing exposure or coursework preferred
• Ability to work 20 hours per week
• Excellent writing, editing, grammatical and proofing skills with the ability to frame accounting and business topics in engaging ways
• Ability to review and analyze social media/web traffic and trends and extrapolate new issues/ideas (horizon scanning)
• Strong research and critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
• Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
• Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
