As a M&A Analytics Associate, you will assist in project scoping and strategic planning, research and analyze business strategies, and develop insightful analyses. You will design data integration workflows, execute various data and analytic techniques, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to present findings and prepare client deliverables. Additionally, you should possess strong financial and business acumen and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Perform (as part of a team) data analytics for clients who are acquiring or divesting businesses (US and international)
Prepare detailed financial analysis to help clients evaluate their acquisition and divestiture decisions and financing requirements
Participate in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management to obtain pertinent information for financial analysis
Interact with the other functional areas of the practice including tax, audit and other consulting practices
Required Qualifications:
Minimum B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university by the time employment commences
Major and/or minor in Accounting, Finance and/or Data Analytics
Travel is required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $66,100 - $117,200
