    KPMG is currently seeking a Tax Intern to join our Ignition Tax team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the identification and documentation of direct tax requirements related to an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation through work paper review and/or interviews of client personnel
    • Help with the translation of tax requirements into ERP solutions, working with the Systems Integrator (SI)
    • Support team with a variety of tasks including workshop preparation, process improvement, functional specifications documentation, ERP solutions resolution, data reconciliations, testing and ERP go-live support
    • Help prepare documentation and analytical reports that effectively summarize and present procedures, assumptions and conclusions using Word, Visio, PowerPoint and other applications
    • Assist teams who work directly with clients and other resources to obtain relevant data and documents in formats consistent with project objectives and deadlines, review project deliverables and resolve project issues

    Qualifications:

    • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Management, Accounting Information Systems, Business or Data Analytics, Information Science, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Actuarial or a related field
    • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above
    • Upon completion of this internship candidates must have additional academic credits to complete before obtaining their degree and/or CPA eligibility requirements
    • Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, quantitative and problem solving skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
    • Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
    • Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
