    KPMG is currently seeking a Tax Seasonal Intern for our Business Tax Services (BTS) practice.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform tax-related tasks involving tax compliance to a variety of clients including partnerships, corporations and S-corporations

    • Participate in data analytics assignments using KPMG's technology, creation of tax return work papers and tax returns for corporate clients and coordination of offshore resources

    • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and sustain excellent client relationships

    • Keep up to date on current tax practices

    Qualifications:

    • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in accounting, finance, taxation, mathematics, economics, information technology, data and analytics, engineering (financial, industrial or systems) or related fields

    • Preferred: Degrees and/or areas of study: Accounting and Taxation

    • Pursuing the state-specific education requirements to be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the principal place of business for this position

    • Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above

    • Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, computer science or data and analytics preferred

    • Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

    • Excellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work

    • Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice

    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
