    Brunswick Group is looking for a Finance Planning & Analysis Intern to join the team in our New York City office in Spring 2020. As an intern with Brunswick, you will gain real experience working with professionals in the field.     Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

    Internal Contribution & Handling

    • Provide support on monthly reporting including utilization reports, hours and timesheet reports, and other recurring reports
    • Where possible, help streamline reporting and processes
    • Provide support on creating presentations for monthly & quarterly senior management meetings
    • Support the Financial Analysis team in analyzing data and trends
    • Including analyzing our Specialist Offers and Forecast analysis
    • Work with and interpret large sets of data in order to make meaningful analysis
    • Learn a web-based business intelligence dashboard, Power BI, to run reports and answer ad hoc queries from Partners & Directors in the firm

    Communication

    • Prepare well-written, organized and thoughtful analytical comments
    • Be able to help create impactful presentations for monthly and quarterly meetings
    • Express a point of view in a thoughtful manner; able to analyse and distil complex information
    • Use good judgment in deciding what information should be shared and what should not; exercise discretion

  • Qualifications

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong Analytical Skills
    • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot table, Vlookups, Sumifs, etc.)
    • Financial Modeling a plus
    • High attention to detail and organization skills
    • Basic understanding of financial terminology
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and digital media tools (namely PowerPoint and Excel)
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize
    • Problem-solving skills
    • Self-motivation
    • Creativity
    • Ability to exhibit discretion with confidential client matters
    • Overall willingness to learn and ask questions
