Insight Intern, Opinion Research & Analytics in DC ($13/hr+)
Support all phases of a project from proposal to final deliverable
Sample acquisition, crosstab specing and analysis
Prepare initial presentation drafts and link findings to strategy
Experience in telling stories through numbers and identifying trends and patterns in media content
Strong work ethic and attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize
Positive and energetic with a team-player attitude
Exceptional research, writing and communication skills
Responsive problem-solver and strategic and creative thinker
Ability to exhibit discretion with confidential client matters
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and social/digital media tools
Experience analyzing survey data is a plus
Experience with the following platforms a big plus: Sysomos, Radian6, Visible Technologies, Crimson Hexagon, BrandWatch, Traackr, Zignal, any stats program like SPSS
Background in primary research – surveys and focus groups – a plus but not necessary
Understanding of the current media landscape, both traditional and social channels.
