  • Responsibilities

    This is a 10-week paid internship opportunity for the summer officially launching in June 2017. Selected interns will get to work on 1-3 client accounts in different practice areas including Beauty, Consumer, Home & Lifestyle and Social Strategy.

    Although it varies by team, interns may assist the account staff in a variety of activities, including building media lists and writing fact sheets, drafting pitches, media monitoring, assembling clip reports, coordinating editor and blogger send outs, event planning & logistics, sitting in on client calls, managing inventory, participating in brainstorms and researching ideas.

    You will gain exposure through various opportunities, including: Learning Seminars IPG Intern Mixers Challenging Group Project and Office-Wide Presentation Agency Summer Party and other Cultural Initiatives

    PART THREE – Please answer ONE of the two questions listed below (500 words maximum): We at DeVries Global believe a brand’s distinct point of view and purpose in the world is important to strengthening their relationship with consumers. In your opinion, what brand within the last 2 years has done the best job of differentiating themselves within the crowded consumer space, and how have they done it? The importance of influencer marketing is increasingly significant – and controversial. When it comes to brand/influencer partnerships, what factors do you feel are most important for effectiveness, and how would you argue its importance overall?

    The deadline to submit will be Wednesday, March 15. You will be contacted directly by Friday, March 31 if there is further interest. If selected, there will be an initial HR phone screen, followed by a meeting (Skype or in person) with the account teams.

  • Qualifications

    The successful candidate for the position will have the following qualifications and experience:

    • Candidates must be able to work full-time (40+ hours Monday through Friday);

    • College students (rising juniors & seniors) and recent graduates pursuing a degree in communications or a related field are preferred;

    • Excellent storytelling, verbal and written communication skills;

    • Collaborative spirit;

    • Must be able to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines;

    • Contagious curiosity and creativity

    Note: Academic credit is not a requirement
