The Berman Group is seeking a Public Relations and Social Media professional to manage accounts and support PR strategy and execution for clients.

Job responsibilities include:

• Write and edit press releases and pitch them to industry reporters and trade press contacts
• Write and edit articles for industry newsletters and publications
• Coordinate with clients on editorial strategy, media pitches and social media campaigns
• Develop creative story ideas to pitch to clients and media
• Generate press hits and prepare clippings reports for clients
• Create and manage social media schedules, posts and engagements
• Maintain public relations and social media calendars for clients and provide updates
• Maintain a database of editors and publications

• Be a self-starter, highly organized, motivated team player
• Exceptional writing skills
• 1-3 years experience in public relations and social media management
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others and solve problems
• Professionalism in all aspects of work
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Social Media platforms
• Experience in the real estate and design fields, a plus
