Digital Interns needed for growing travel publishing company. Flower Publishing is a 20-year-old expanding company and seeks your expertise in getting us to the next level in the digital market.

We work with Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, museums, attractions, restaurants and more. This is a small knit company with great people in Midtown NYC.

We are looking for articulate, New York savvy, people to help us with our website expansion and social media program. Most of all, we seek interns with a sense of humor, great work ethic, interesting ideas, and team workmanship. If you’re looking for a position to get coffee and make copies, this is not for you, but if you are looking for a position where YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE, we encourage you to apply.

• Pursuit of a degree in journalism, digital media, English, or something akin
• In-depth knowledge on 2 or more social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr.)
• In-depth knowledge of Google analytics
• Good to excellent writing skills for web pages and other communications
• Knowledge of some segment of the NYC scene (i.e. bars, night clubs, the arts, sightseeing, etc.)
• Video experience a plus

Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, (some) analytics, overall understanding of social media and placement, planning, creative writing skills
