CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR SUPERINTENDENT PROJECT MANAGER FOR GROWING COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY. Apartment complexes, senior living and hotel builder.

Responsibilities:

Pre-Construction

Ø Site assessment and feasibility.

Ø Participate in customer prequalification meetings and submissions. Must be familiar with Estimating and be Dallas based

Ø Program design development.

Ø Establish project time lines and scope of work.

Ø Participant in establishing initial budgets.

PM Management

Ø Development of risks assessments and method statements and project preplanning activities.

Ø Coordinate customer site requirements with all suppliers and subcontractors.

Ø Coordination of design with architect and engineering team.

Ø Procurement of materials, installation planning and design.

Ø Present value engineering opportunities.

Ø Job cost accounting and forecasting.

Ø Manage customer contract comments.

Ø Coordination of as built drawings.

Ø Preparation of OMN manuals and ISO compliance.

Ø Development and assurance of site specific safety plan.

Ø Oversight of management, service and warranty programs.

Ø Assisting Sales Manager on sales calls and jobsite meetings.

Ø Adhering to company policies and procedures.

Ø Create and maintain MS Project construction schedules.

Ø Maintain monthly cost to complete for each job.

Ø Conform to ISO documentation procedures.

Ø Adhere to Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies.

Ø Learning and understanding the capability of the Made2Manage cost system.

Ø Establish monthly billing reports.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Ø Candidates applying for this position must have proven project management skill, preferably working in the medical industry for a large general contractor.

Ø Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.

Ø Willingness to travel from time to time.

Ø Effective oral and written communication.

Ø Proven experience with a construction based ERP system.

Ø Proficient computer skills with MS Project, MS-Word, Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Skills

Ø College education in related field with hands on experience.

Ø Construction experience in the medical industry.

Ø Prior experience in both pre-construction and execution roles.

Ø Black CSCS Card.

Ø Prior estimating skills a plus.
