ABOUT THE DOTDASH MEREDITH SUMMER INTERN PROGRAM:
The Dotdash Meredith Summer Intern Program is a full-time program that runs for 10 weeks (6/6/22-8/12/22), with a competitive compensation rate. The program consists of hands-on learning, opportunities to create work that has an impact, workshops in preparing you for post-college life (resume / interviewing), and some fun events throughout the summer!

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
Serious Eats is seeking a cross-testing summer intern to join our team. We're so excited to work with you behind the scenes of one of the most beloved food brands out there! The primary goal of this role is to assist the Serious Eats culinary team with both its in-house and external cross-testing programs . This role is ideal for someone who:
Cooks for themselves and others constantly
Is able to communicate clearly
Pays meticulous attention to detail and prides themselves on their precision as it pertains to food

ABOUT YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS:
Cross-test and provide extensive feedback on 20 recipes/month in accordance with Serious Eats standards and guidelines
Coordinate with our network of talented cross-testers to help editors manage communication and receive timely feedback
Help the Serious Eats culinary team review and reconcile cross-testing feedback.
Assist in the test kitchen during shoot weeks
ABOUT YOU:
A longtime fan of Serious Eats' rigor and methodology
1+ years experience working with savory and sweet recipes in a professional capacity
Excellent written communication skills
Experience with visual storytelling and basic photography
A love for all things related to food, cooking, and being in the kitchen, and a deep passion for connecting people through recipes
Self-driven; high degree of collaboration, organization, and positivity; ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment
Able to work in a remote environment
