Primary Areas of Work
Abode Communities Individual Giving Officer works as a member of the Fund Development team to support the individual giving and annual gift strategies of Abode Communities.
The Individual Giving Officer is responsible for raising major gifts (ranging from $2,500 - $10,000 plus) with multi-year commitments for Abode Communities Beyond Homes Giving Society.
Primary responsibilities are a combination of individual giving/donor stewardship, annual giving, event planning and fund development office support.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Fund Development Office Support
Manage donor records, enter notes and actions from Vice President of Fund Development (VPFD), prepare reports and analyze data.
Support the VPFD as it relates to fundraising activities, donor cultivation, donor stewardship and donor solicitation.
Support the VPFD in managing the Fund Development Committee.
Support the VPFD in the planning and execution of annual fundraising events, including the annual Beyond Home Breakfast.
Support special projects and specific campaign efforts, as needed.
Additional staff support, as needed, to benefit Abode Communities and expand its’ mission.

Compensation
The Individual Giving Officer is a full-time, exempt position, salary commensurate with experience. The salary range is $70-80K.
