Labor & Employment Attorney – Oakland, CA (3-7 years)

ABOUT LAW FIRM LABOR & EMPLOYMENT PRACTICE GROUP

Law firm Labor & Employment Group represents public, private, and non-profit employers throughout California in complex employment matters, strategic advice, and traditional labor law. We provide counseling, negotiations, arbitration, litigation and training services to employers in almost every area of labor and employment law.

We have extensive experience with discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower, overtime, wage and hour and labor law claims, employment contracts, class actions, and administrative hearings and appeals involving grievance, discipline, and unfair labor practice matters. We bring a broad perspective to our labor negotiations practice because we litigate and arbitrate the same issues often negotiated at the bargaining table. Our exceptional track record is exemplified by satisfied clients and successful court and administrative decisions.

We are distinguished by our workplace investigations practice. For more than 10 years, we have had a Workplace Investigations Team within the Labor & Employment Group that specializes in high-profile, sensitive matters often involving organizations’ leadership ranks. Throughout California, we are well known for investigating alleged misconduct that is already front-page news or likely to become a headline during or after the investigation.
