Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney – Downtown San Diego

Mid-large law firm is seeking a 3-6 year litigation associate to join its growing downtown San Diego office. The ideal candidate has strong academic credentials (top third from an ABA-accredited law school) and experience conducting discovery, researching and writing complex motions and briefs for commercial litigation matters. This position requires excellent written and oral communication, a proactive approach to cases regarding strategy and deadlines, strong organizational and prioritization skills, the ability to work independently and exercise exceptional professional judgment. Must be admitted to the CA Bar. This position is ideal for ambitious attorneys looking to develop their own practice over time while working with experienced complex commercial litigation partners to provide comprehensive and strategic counsel to Fortune 500 corporations, privately held businesses, startups and new ventures, international corporations, nonprofit institutions, and individuals in San Diego and around the world. The associate attorney will be part of the firm’s San Diego Litigation Practice Group, comprised of accomplished attorneys with Martindale-Hubbell AV Ratings, named as San Diego Rising Stars by Super Lawyers, and identified as influential leaders by multiple San Diego publications. The attorney will also work with highly skilled paralegals and staff across the firm and with external clients.
