Land Use Associate Attorney - San Diego

One of our national law firms is seeking an attorney to join its thriving Land Use practice in its Downtown San Diego Office. This is an associate position and requires at least 2 years of land use experience. Firm’s attorneys represent investors, developers, builders, major landowners, lenders and local agencies on every aspect of real estate.

Requirements:

• Experience representing developers and property owners in land use matters before local jurisdictions in the San Diego Area.
• Candidates should be familiar with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), general plans, specific plans, zoning law, local zoning codes the Subdivision Map Act and Coastal Act.
• Prior experience negotiating and drafting agreements with public agencies such as development agreements and reimbursement agreements is helpful.
