GIS Specialist Baum Realty Group - Chicago, IL 60642 $51,000 - $55,000 a year Description: Baum Realty Group, LLC (Baum) is a privately held real estate services firm with over 25 years of experience representing national retail tenants, asset managers and landlords. Baum is seeking a GIS Specialist for a full time position. As a GIS Specialist at Baum, you will be responsible for producing a variety of high quality client-facing geographic and demographic materials for the Tenant Representation, Leasing, Corporate Services and Investment Sales divisions at Baum. Additionally you will be responsible for working with the Creative Director, Senior Leadership and brokers to evaluate technologies not currently in use and expanding the existing use of technologies. This position will report directly to the Creative Director and the company President. Responsibilities: * Provide GIS mapping and demographic reports * Consult with brokers to determine appropriate map analysis technique for each project * Assist brokers in developing maps and analyses for site selection/optimization strategies

• Create high-end deliverables in the form of maps, reports, presentations, narratives, data summaries * Generate customized site tour maps and aerials * Prepare demographic reports based on broker/client specifications * Obtain & maintain accurate geographic market data * Provide additional support & data entry on mapping/design projects as needed Software Skills: * Strong skills in ESRI ArcGIS required * Experience with MapInfo Professional , MapInfo Anysite Analyzer, Regis, or Adobe Illustrator a plus but not required * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel Requirements: * 3-5 years of GIS related experience within an educational or professional setting. * Must be highly organized and be able to work well under pressure with tight schedules and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Meticulous attention to detail. * Excellent written and oral communication skills a must.
