A&E Specialist Position Summary Own and execute the milestone of A&E
drawings, responsible for the coordination of A&E drawings for multiple
customers jobs and ensure project completion according to mutually
agreed upon timeline, policies and procedures. Responsible for the
ordering, forecasting, reviewing, and actualization of all construction
drawings related to modification, collocation and construction of
towers. Essential Job Functions * Coordinate and expedite drawing
production, including: pricing/contracting with A&E vendors,
coordinating with customers, QC initial drawings, managing
changes/revisions, and ensuring construction drawings match project
scope accordingly * Validate consistency of drawing against structural
analysis and application scope, ensuring that the drawings match in
equipment, quantity, etc. * Ensure that CAD base file for site plans and
elevations are accurate prior to providing to internal or external
partners, as needed * Evaluate ground space requirements for new
colocations, ensuring that CAD site drawings are accurately updated *
Utility coordination and A&E site walk coordination, as needed *
Communicate and coordinate with any relevant functions and parties as
needed Request, manage, and quality control zoning drawings, drawing
revisions, and final construction drawings throughout the lifecycle of
each job * Validate Crown Castle requirements as a tower owner and make
redlines as appropriate * Ensure the District Project Manager, Real
Estate Project Manager, and customers (as applicable) are immediately
made aware of issues impacting project completion or cost * Participate
in weekly internal and external deployment meetings as directed by the
Real Estate Project Manager, interacting with customer representatives
as needed * Ensure A&E deliverables are completed according to mutually
agreed upon timelines and in accordance with Crown Castle policies and
procedures * Coordinate resolution of design issues as they arise
(limited lease or jurisdiction entitlements, additional ground space
needed, access or utility easements, etc.) * Responsible for maintaining
PMT forecast dates and actualizing the Obtain CDs milestone *
Communicate with District PM/PC to ensure all A&E services work managed
by Real Estate, including out of scope reimbursable items, is billed to
the customer per set project terms * Upload/send deliverables to
appropriate customer and Crown Castle databases as required
Education/Certifications * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work
experience Experience/Minimum Requirements * (1) to three (3) years of
A&E Drawing experience and/or Telecom construction experience Other
Skills/Abilities * Ability to read and understand blueprints,
construction drawings, surveys, and equipment specifications, along with
an understanding of tower/roof top structural details * Ability to
quickly identify work flow problems along critical paths and implement
solutions * Strong organization skills and high attention to detail *
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously * Ability to
communicate across multiple service groups, including holding internal
and external partners accountable for agreed upon deliverables *
Knowledge of telecommunications/wireless project management, asset
management, tower maintenance, and property management * Knowledge of
site acquisition procedures, including regulatory and permitting process
- Ability to read and understand financial metrics and identify remedies
to financial issues * Customer-focused and team oriented collaborator
with a strong problem solving approach * Knowledge of construction
services: telco, power, fiber, basic construction, vendor equipment
requirements, towers, lines, and antennas Organizational Relationship
Reports to: Real Estate Project Manager Title(s) of direct reports (if
applicable): N/A Working Conditions: Works in a normal office setting
with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions 80% of the time.
Required travel to project sites with exposure to heavy equipment and
