Job Description Responsibilities: * Understanding of Teams objectives for obtaining new business for local and national companies * Organization of and entry of contact information and company data into Salesforce data base * Research of prospective companies as provided by Team * Recommendation of new business prospects to Team based upon understanding of profile of prospective new clients * Set up and implementation of marketing plan for Team for delivery of regular emails to prospective clients * Follow up with prospects via email and phone calls * Documentation of prospect leads and notes in Salesforce * Reporting on progress and initiatives to Team for new business development * Research of relevant news articles and white papers on commercial real estate for distribution to new prospective clients Cushman amp; Wakefield will provide Intern with the following to assist in an successful outcome: * Introduction and overview of tenant representation process on a national basis * General understanding of platform of services provided to our clients * Initial training on Salesforce * Access to sample data base of new prospects * Introduction to broader company processes including Broker sales meetings, tours (when possible and applicable), client meetings and phone calls * Participation and involvement, when relevant, in industry events Requirements: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (In a Business related field: Business, Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, etc.) * A desire to work in the commercial real estate industry or marketing / sales * Prefer knowledge of or previous internship in real estate or marketing / sales position or business is beneficial * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Knowledge of Salesforce a plus * Strong internet research skills preferred * Detail oriented and thorough * Excellent interpersonal skills with high initiative, flexibility and team approach to work * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Entrepreneurial spirit * 40 hours / week Cushman amp; Wakefield provides equal employment opportunity.
