DIGITAL & TECHNOLOGY SUMMER 2023 INTERNSHIP PROGRAM - OVERVIEW:

CBRE is looking for Data Science & Data Analytics Interns to join our summer program in 2023.

We are also looking for top-notch Cybersecurity, UX-UI Design, Software Engineering, and Product Management Interns to join this program. If selected for this internship program, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience. You will learn from and be mentored by top tech professionals and contribute to technology that is utilized by over 105,000+ global CBRE employees and CBRE’s prominent clients.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

• Start date: Late May 2023

• End date: Early August 2023

• Duration: 10 weeks

• Hours/week: 40 hours (full-time)

• Paid: Yes (hourly)

• Location: Richardson, TX

  • You may request to work remotely, but it is not guaranteed.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Help acquire, analyze and prepare data, as assigned by the Data Science/Analytics team

• Assist in identifying new ways to maximize data usage and help develop new strategies to improve business performance.

• Gather and validate information, using judgment and statistical tests.

• Research the latest models and algorithms and use statistical reasoning to help solve business problems

• Support cross-functional analytical projects

• Apply the tools of modern data science using open-source architecture to help analyze CBRE’s proprietary data

• Support data research efforts for product development for clients

• Help develop custom algorithms for solving real estate business problems across a wealth of structured and unstructured data

• Support the Data Science & Analytics team with projects, as needed.

• Perform other tasks, as needed.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science (or related field).

• You are graduating sometime between Spring 2023 - Spring 2024.

  • In other words, you are a current junior or senior in undergrad or pursuing a graduate degree, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2024 or earlier.

• You have a knack and passion for problem-solving and critical thinking.

• You are motivated and ambitious.

• You thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

WHAT WE’RE GIVING BONUS POINTS FOR:

• You have experience with one or more of the following: PowerBI, Tableau, Python, R, etc.

• You can quickly learn and apply different programming languages and/or technical concepts, as needed
