JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment, using multiple hand tools and other tools such as torches. Perform a variety of routine maintenance and service operations, including performing minor equipment repairs and assisting other maintenance associates as needed. Keep accurate records of jobs performed using Maximo system. Perform welding and fabrication of carts as needed. Perform job rotation with team members to insure proper standardized work and ergonomic safety. Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies, attending some meetings as appropriate. Coordinates work to ensure best practices with all team members. Accepts responsibility to quickly identify any areas of lack of cohesiveness, bringing them to the attention of the team leader and working with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues effecting cohesiveness. Performs all 5S housekeeping tasks in appropriate areas.
