Reporting to the President of Games, the Director, Chief of Staff will drive operational excellence and manage key strategic initiatives in partnership with the Games leadership team and cross-functional partners. This role plays a critical role in how Games organization plans, executes, and communicates - building appropriate systems, operating models that improve decision making, prioritization, coordination, and execution. This newly created position will be based in Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities
**1. Operational Excellence & Strategic Planning **
Create a comprehensive execution plan for organization wide or specific projects, and guide the organization through change management.
Design, implement, and run the Games organization's operating rhythm and planning cycles to ensure accountability, momentum, and organizational and operational excellence. Specifically, these include:
Proactively identify challenges and implement scalable systems and tools to improve information flow, decision-making, and execution plans for all stakeholders.
**2. Organizational & Cross-Functional Partnership **
3. Communication and Alignment
Partner with Communications team and HR to lead internal communications (e.g., All Hands, AMAs), translating business and organizational strategy into a cohesive, actionable narrative for the broader organization.
In partnership with Marketing and Communications teams,
Facilitate cross-functional understanding and buy-in through structured socialization forums that clarify priorities, pivots, key initiatives, and performance outcomes.
Serve as a central resource for teams to ensure consistent, clear, and effective representation of Netflix Games across the company.
Qualifications
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $310,000.00 - $650,000.00.
