    About the DE&I Summer Internship Program

    The DE&I Summer Internship Program is another initiative to support our DE&I approach and is a full-time, paid program that provides an in-depth introduction to CBRE’s Corporate Functions and the diverse range of career opportunities therein.

    As the world’s largest commercial real estate services firm, CBRE will pair Interns with industry-leading subject matter experts and resources through a variety of strategic initiatives to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our global organization.

    Responsibilities May Include

    Assists with various projects and initiatives in the areas of Operational Excellence, Talent & Business Enablement, Supplier Diversity, and Communications.

    Assists in the planning, development, and execution of highly visible DE&I events, as well as sponsored events.

    Assists in establishing and/or managing tracking systems to track progress of DE&I initiatives/projects and business pursuits, wherein the DE&I team is engaged, perform follow up, and document outcomes.

    Assists in process development and continuous process improvement exercises.

    Assists with recording best practices, as well as drafting policies, procedures, and playbooks.

    Assists with research and presentation design work.

    Assists with the research of speaking opportunities that increases the visibility of CBRE as industry leaders in the DE&I and Commercial Real Estate spaces.

    Assists with managing the central repository that houses historical DE&I content, DE&I resources, best practices guides, policies, and procedures.

    Assists with Intranet clean up and updates.

    Assists with creating social media content and/or editorial calendar.

    Candidates should have a strong academic background, preferably with a focus on business, human resources, communications, or public affairs. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, creative, and disciplined, seeking to excel in the commercial real estate industry.

    Other duties may be assigned.

    Qualifications

    The internship is designed for candidates with a strong academic background, preferably in business, human resources, communications, or public affairs. In addition, applicants should be self-motivated, creative, and disciplined and exhibit a demonstrated interest in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), and the commercial real estate industry.

    Current college sophomore, junior or senior pursuing bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university

    Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

    Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.

    Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively present information to supervisors and management team

    Requires knowledge of basic financial terms, concepts, and accounting principles

    Detail-oriented and highly organized

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
