    Job Description

    OVERVIEW:

    As a Marketing Manager at Douglas Elliman, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of marketing for the Fran Katzen Team, from strategy to execution and operations, aligning with the agent’s overall objectives. You will help lead a team of interns and boutique agencies, to create bespoke marketing plans that drive growth, overall. The ideal candidate has agency experience (whether you’ve worked at one or have managed one), is creatively driven, solutions-oriented, resourceful and a self-starter, and has a passion for social media and branding.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    -Help to implement strategic marketing initiatives that connect several platforms, including website, email, DM, and social media. You would assume the marketing calendar development and management, alongside a key agency partner(s).

    -Manage brand identity work for custom agent content and creative, working with design specialists and writers in-house at Douglas Elliman. You will also learn to utilize software platforms that Douglas Elliman offers to create marketing so you can help to create things yourself.

    -Direct messaging and creative campaigns to ensure consistent and cohesive branding and messaging across platforms.

    -Own (with the help of a p/t intern) the social media cadence and calendar across multiple social channels, specifically oversight to creative and copy and management, as well as community management.

    -Collaborate and communicate across the Fran Kazten team, working with other brokers on the team, including Fran herself. Be a center-point of comm’s for all internal PR/Advertising/Operations contacts at Douglas Elliman.

    -Beyond boutique agencies, you may work with internal and external partner vendors, such as printers, CRM, videographers, and photographers to ensure work is briefed properly, and timelines are managed  and up to creative standards.

    ·Assume financial responsibility for Fran’s 360 marketing efforts, including owning marketing revenue, tracking and recording/reporting of financials. Manage marketing-related invoices and agency payments.

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    • 5+ years previous experience in an in-house marketing, agency, creative or branding role; creative production experience and project management preferred

    • 3+ years of people management experience

     

    · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Social Media tools such as Canva,

    · Interested in third party analytics and/or keyword research tools, like Google Analytics

    · Experience with content creation and production tools is a plus

    · Enthusiastic leader, experience managing small yet mighty teams, providing marketing direction
