We're seeking talented passionate Software Engineers to help scale our innovative internal technology that allows us to serve our rapidly growing investor base, and our expanding portfolio of real estate assets. This is a full-stack role with an emphasis on back-end development. You'll work to:

• Implement new products and features to scale, automate and facilitate the crucial work of our accounting and real estate private equity teams
• Scale the capability of our internal tools to match the growth in the business
• Engineer solutions to streamline our internal processes to support the growing scale and complexity of our investment offerings

Our startup engineering team deploys continuously, so you will have a chance to have a significant and immediate impact on our growing user base and the overall success of our business.  You will have an opportunity to work with our team that has a diverse array of backgrounds, including real estate development, accounting, finance, software engineering and design.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale and improve software systems for a rapidly-growing fintech investment platform
• Deploy software in rapid release cycles (sometimes multiple times a day!)
• Maintain and monitor systems deployed on AWS
• Review pull-requests and participate in code reviews to ensure software quality
• Collaborate with teams outside of engineering to deliver, assess, and iterate on our solutions
• Take full ownership of the technology stack including front-end and back-end development, testing, and resolving issues that arise in production
• Participate in design and architecture decisions for new financial systems tools

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and maintaining dynamic production-level applications
• Experience mentoring and developing the skills of junior engineers
• Experience working with relational databases where transactions and throughput were critical to operations
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Mastery and application of data structures and computer science fundamentals
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• An appreciation for writing elegant code
• An aptitude and inclination for learning new domains quickly
