Jumpshell has made a name for itself in Boston as a source of detailed, honest local insight about moving to and renting in the city. We get 5-10 emails per week from readers just thanking us for clarifying everything. You could have that impact. Just google "moving to boston" and see what we mean.

We're aiming for this to be a semi-intense two-week project with some back-and-forth communication for tablesetting, revisions + education on how we'll turn your work into something magical for the world. We want you to get a lot out of this, beyond just being compensated (which you will be).

RENTING EXPERIENCE

To make sure these pieces of content are as credible + authoritative as possible, candidates will have to have experience renting an apartment in Los Angeles. You'll need to be able to speak to the process + pitfalls of looking for apartments in LA.

WRITING EXPERIENCE

We're looking for someone with unique knack for writing clear, compelling, informative and concise copy. Ideally, you're someone who enjoys writing beyond the classroom (you're on Medium, have a personal website, etc.).

We're not looking for BuzzFeed-style "18 Reasons Why [blah blah blah]" content.

We'll be asking for some examples of your non-academic writing. We want to see you can be detailed without being overbearing, have a sense of humor without being slapstick and carry a voice that's palatable to a wide audience.
