    Do you always find yourself helping people left and right? Do your friends often asking you to recommend a restaurant? Do you prefer better when every day is unlike the other?

    Daily, the Concierge communicates with hundreds of people in person, by phone, and via email: answer questions, provide information for prospective guests, refer all incoming concerns to appropriate members of the team, build friendly relationships with guests and serve as a brand ambassador of Southern Management's Hotel Division. Concierge is the most creative people-person on the team who ensures that guests are having the most outstanding experience staying at the Southern Management Hotel.

    For a Concierge, there is no typical day, but most of them might include the following:

    • Acknowledging all guests and visitors who enter the building and creating a welcome and hospitable environment
    • Being a resource for information on items and services of all kinds
    • Providing special services and coordinating special guest requests
    • Answering all incoming calls and provide basic hotel information, such as price ranges, sizes, hotel specific information (pool, fitness room, etc)
    • Maintaining key control logs, incident logs and snow logs
    • Maintaining an excellent appearance of the front desk and the lobby area
    • Inputting service orders and guest cards into Yardi, as assigned
    • Maintaining and updating a file for the different resources needed to perform concierge job
    • Maintaining a list of parts and their numbers for all office equipment for ordering ease and efficiency

  • Qualifications
    • High School diploma or GED
    • 2-4 years in a hospitality/customer service field or related area
    • Familiarity with the concept, practice, and procedures of a concierge
    • Professional, polished appearance with excellent written, verbal and social skills
    • Basic knowledge of Excel
