Ikos, a Pittsburgh-based startup is seeking a Community Interactions
Specialist to join our efforts in scaling our business and operations
efforts to new markets. Were VC backed and have successful operations
currently up and running in Pittsburgh, PA and Cleveland, OH As a
Community Interactions Specialist at Ikos, you'll be responsible for
maintaining our flex-leasing process by connecting landlords with
renters and building relationships within the local market. On a daily
basis, you will work with a team that will facilitate showings and
provides unique information and insights about specific properties. You
will use this information to help renters find the best property that
works for them while informing landlords about local market data and
strategizing with them to get their units filled. Some real estate/
leasing experience required. About Ikos: Ikos is delivering a scalable
leasing service for residential landlords that improves their occupancy
rates and provides real-time market data for rental, rehab and
investment decisions. The residential renting process is currently a
mess for both renters and landlords. We're here to change that by
simplifying how landlords (specifically small/medium landlords) manage
their investment properties, while better serving the renters who call
those investments, home. About You & Your Impact: Youre looking to

early member of our core operations team, you'll help define Ikos
culture and practice extreme ownership over critical operations
processes and key client relationships. You get things done. You have

landlords were serving. Some of the areas core to our Operations Teams
efforts include establishing and building relationships with landlords
but learning about their current inventory and working with our Sales
Team to grow the companys reach within your specific market and in other
cities. Expectations: * Leadership within Operations Team * Overall
exceptional communications skills, both verbal and written, are a must.
- Working with Landlords to provide market data that will help guide
units to be rented. * Guide Renters upon completion of them seeing a
unit or apartment by answering any questions, facilitating request and
helping them rent our landlords properties. * Managing your individual
quota while tracking and reporting your deals pipeline * Building a
sales pipeline through execution of sales activities * Identifying
customer trends and advise marketing to set up demand generation
programs to address them * Generating and following up with inbound and
outbound leads * Qualifying and converting marketing leads into sales
opportunities to drive incremental business * Maintaining and enriching
account data in our CRM Team player: * Participate in CRM design,
implementation, and testing for new features and enhancements to the
sales process. * Learn the Ikos process in-depth and provide operations
and sales insight to the team. * Engage in random banter with the team
(sports, drinks, tech, tv shows/movies, etc.). * Getting your hands
dirty * Know that things (mistakes) happen but work with the team to fix
problems. * Be able to lead conversations on both the Operations and
Sales side with stakeholders. * Overall exceptional communications
skills, both verbal and written, are a must. Qualifications: * Bachelors
degree and 0-3 years of related experience; or an advanced degree
without experience; or equivalent work experience * State Real Estate
License (or being enrolled in classes currently) is preferred but not
immediately required * Expertise with real-world Sales/Business
Development experience working on interesting and complex business
problems. * Understanding of the sales process from lead management to
closing business * Familiarity with account management for defined focus
prospects * Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Ability
to maintain an open and honest communication with your team and
management * Independence, yet a team player mentality * Comfortability
selling over the phone to new prospects Real Estate Knowledge: Ideal:
Understand the struggle between renters and landlords. Have a background
in property management and/or have been a leasing specialist. Be
licensed and practice either residential or commercial real estate.
Reality: Be eager and interested in real estate and compelled to help
people already in the business with a desire to learn as much as
possible. Be good with people (genuinely good with people) and enjoy
relationship building. Compensation: This is a full-time position, with
options for equity and actual impact in a company and its
operations/sales process. We have a 90-day performance evaluation period
in which we will work closely with you to put you in the best situations
to succeed. Following this period, the company offers unlimited vacation
packages and robust Health, Dental and Vision offerings. Compensation
begins with a $35,000 base salary, including variable compensation that
is uncapped. We fully expect earnings, inclusive of the variable
compensation to be annualized over $43,000 after the 90 day ramp-up
