TOLL BROTHERS, America's leading luxury home builder, is seeking a high-energy INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE INTERN to join our Marketing team in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Interior Architecture Intern is responsible for creating an exceptional luxury brand experience for Toll Brothers customers to learn about new home options through the design and implementation of our sales centers. The visual merchandiser will highlight the features and benefits of our homes to attract, engage, and motivate the customer toward making a purchase. This team member works alongside the National Interior Merchandising leaders to coordinate efforts to ensure sales centers and community openings details are set. Primary responsibilities include sales center project management, plan reviews and critiques, coordinating furniture orders and monthly report management.
WHAT ARE THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES?
Assist in creating a luxury customer environment through the design and development of Toll Brothers sales centers
Develop initial sales center floor plans which ensure programming, brand compliance and budget goal adherence is met and provide technical solutions for design challenge
Implement timely submission of construction documents on a weekly basis and for smaller projects may complete all CD production and review
Review and redline drawing packages from external drafting team to oversee the production of interior design drawings /construction documents (CDs) as well as design intent and code compliance
Review and approves interior architectural elevations and millwork shop drawings to ensure design details are accurate and meet the brand and quality standards
Assist in developing and documenting 3-D modeling, material and finish palettes, lighting, accessories and plumbing packages
Coordinate merchandising projects as requested from the operations teams including sales centers and community openings with a focus on sales centers
Assist in multiple interior merchandising projects
Exposure to sales center plans and critique for branding compliance and budget goal adherence. Coordinate and work with technical designers and architects to ensure ID specification plans are completed and included in construction drawings on time for permit set submittal
Prepare model park reports including sales center opening and status reports to share with managers to manage project load, deadlines and to ensure furniture supplies are available to meet deadlines
Assist in the managing sales center furniture inventory with outside vendors to ensure communities can open by the necessary timeline and on budget
Produce reports, tracking and documentation for all national merchandising activity

QUALIFICATIONS
We seek students currently enrolled in their Junior or Senior year majoring in Interior Design or Interior Architecture or a related field and are interested in gaining hands-on industry experience prior to graduation. Experience with Photoshop, Graphic Design, Revit, and/or CAD are a plus!
