Job Overview: As a Leasing Agent for our apartment homes in a challenging location, you’ll be at the forefront of attracting and retaining residents. You’ll showcase our properties, address resident inquiries, and guide them seamlessly through the leasing process. This role requires adaptability, resilience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
Accountability
- Own the leasing process from start to finish, maintaining thorough records of interactions and lease agreements.
- Follow leasing policies and fair housing regulations to ensure compliance and reduce risk.
Legendary Customer Service
- Provide world-class customer service to prospective and current residents, building trust through prompt, effective communication.
- Conduct engaging property tours, highlighting features and amenities that best meet prospective residents’ needs.
Marketing and Outreach
- Create and implement marketing strategies to drive leasing traffic, using both traditional and digital channels.
- Build relationships with local businesses and community leaders to generate referrals and promote our properties.
Lease Administration
- Assist prospective residents with applications, screenings, and lease agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate smooth move-in and move-out processes to create a positive experience for residents.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in sales, marketing, or real estate is a plus!)
- 2+ years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service, ideally in multifamily housing
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—able to build rapport with people from all walks of life
- Resilient and adaptable in challenging environments, with a solution-focused attitude
- Working knowledge of fair housing laws and leasing best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
