Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Leasing Consultant to join our team at Casa Del Verde, our multifamily apartment community in Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you will be responsible for leasing apartment homes, supporting resident retention efforts, and delivering an exceptional resident experience. You will play a key role in driving occupancy by engaging prospective residents, conducting tours, and managing the leasing process from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, sales-driven, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and professional community environment.
Essential Functions: (Include but are not limited to):
Resident Experience & Retention:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
- Foster a positive community atmosphere by supporting resident engagement initiatives, events, and programs that enhance satisfaction and encourage lease renewals.
Leasing & Sales:
- Meet and exceed occupancy goals by leasing apartment homes to qualified prospects, conducting property tours, and effectively communicating the value of the community.
- Manage lease renewals and build strong relationships to encourage long-term residency and referrals.
Marketing & Social Media:
- Support the property’s online presence through social media engagement, creative content, and marketing initiatives. Assist in promoting the community through tours, outreach, and digital platforms to drive traffic and increase lead conversion.
Compliance & Administration:
- Ensure all lease documentation and resident records are completed accurately and maintained in compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all resident information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience; multifamily experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse residents and prospects
- Professional, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations, or the ability to quickly learn
- Experience with property management software (Yardi or similar systems preferred)
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk the property, including stairs, units, and outdoor areas
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds as needed
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions
- Ability to operate standard office equipment (computer, phone, printer, etc.)
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- May be required to respond to occasional after-hours or emergency situations
