    Summer Internship Lendleases Summer Internships gives college students the opportunity to augment their education by performing meaningful real-world responsibilities over a 2 to 3 months summer span. Working as a Summer Internship can also help determine a students ability to succeed in our Graduate Program upon graduation. Many former Interns later join the Lendlease. Below are the different disciplines available for Summer Internships. You will select the discipline you most prefer when applying. * Safety Safety always comes first and is a Lendlease guiding principle. EH&S is a real career at Lendlease, with dedicated EH&S roles in the field all the way to the top levels of leadership. While safety is a part of everything we do, this role will largely focus on construction jobsite safety. * Construction Our largest number of opportunities exist in the Construction discipline. Project Management and Field Leadership are the principal responsibilities learned, with other functions in the construction and pre-construction stages also incorporated. Construction projects worked on depend on the location. They can range from iconic and skyline changing, to those making positive impacts for families and communities. (View some of our projects at www.lendlease.com/us/projects/) * Architecture / Design Management We manage various stages of the design process in our design-build, public-private partnership, and development led projects. These roles focus on managing the design process from creating, to proposal-stage design, to the completion of construction documents. * Finance / Accounting As a large publicly traded international organization, Lendlease has outstanding opportunities for Finance and Accounting professionals. Responsibilities can include processing project accounting transactions, analyzing project expenditures and completing project cost allocations. Responsibilities may also include assisting in preparing project reports including variance analysis, ensuring compliance with internal Project Accounting and Reporting policies and procedures. Opportunities are currently in New York only. * Development Lendlease ventures into development capacities in a number of our markets, including urban regeneration, telecom, military and student housing. Opportunities are limited and mostly reserved for advanced degreed professionals. GENERAL BACKGROUND AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelors or Masters Degree program, and scheduled to return to college in the Fall after the Summer Internship. (Graduating students please see the Graduate Program.) * Should demonstrate a passion in the discipline selected.
