Responsibilities: • Record when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made • Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs • Manage other maintenance requests as required • Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed • Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for keeping our residential properties in top condition. Your responsibilities will include: • Performing routine and emergency maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, etc.) • Troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues promptly and professionally • Conducting property inspections and preventative maintenance • Preparing units for move-in and ensuring timely unit turnover, including painting, patching, cleaning, and repairs • Responding to work orders professionally • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment • Providing excellent customer service to residents and working collaboratively with the on-site team Qualifications: • Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends • High school diploma/GED or equivalent • Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills • Over 2 years of maintenance experience • Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems Compensation: $22 - $23 hourly
