    Job Description

    SUMMARY Mckinney Trailer Rentals, a rapidly expanding semi-trailer rental and lease company with over 36,000 trailers is searching for a Corporate Collection Coordinator. Based at Mckinney's corporate office in Brea, CA the Corporate Collection Coordinator is responsible for providing credit, collection and administrative support for all branches/locations assigned, including customer interaction, resolving customer invoice discrepancies, account reconciliation while maintaining accurate records. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: * Monitor the collections of all branches assigned. Make daily contacts to B2B customers regarding invoices over 30 days or dispute related items. Contacting the customer likely includes calls or emails to the appropriate contact. * Notate all AR activity in appropriate systems * Handles customer account reconciliations including portal verification and updates. Coordinating with Billing Dept. to resolve issues. * Process customer requests for invoice copies & W-9's as needed. * Communicate and interact with Sales and Operations team on rate disputes, damage billback disputes and cash flow concerns to resolve delinquency and payment issues in a timely manner meeting with them every other week to review all accounts over 30 days. * Prepare and contribute to monthly AR call between branch team, Corporate Collection Manager and Director of Credit and Collections. * Call new customers within two weeks of their first invoice to confirm receipt, confirm the billing and AR contact information is accurate and to invite them to review their customer portal on Mckinney's website. * Perform other related duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or at least one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed. * Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. * Attention to detail and highly organized. * Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and database * Must be able to multitask and support all assigned branches * Fluent in Spanish is a plus LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to author reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
