    Job Description

     

    SUMMARY

    This position is responsible for opening all new customer accounts and ensuring proper customer profile and billing options are created as well as for cleaning up and maintaining FEIN and Legal customer name information. Additionally this position is responsible for generation and distribution of invoices to customers. 

     

     

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    •    Open all new accounts submitted through the centralized credit process.

    •    Contact customers to determine their billing requirements.

    •    Monitor new contacts opened by the branch to ensure that all billing and setup options are complete and correct.

    •    Assist branches with new contact creation for existing accounts.

    •    Review and distribute all first invoices to new customers and follow up to confirm everything is correct.

    •    Review and Distribute all National Account Billing. 

    •    Cleanup and Maintain FEIN database and Legal names.

    •    Send customer invoices via email and U.S. Mail.

    •    Submit Invoices into third party receivable software.

    •    Create and post invoices.

    •    Communicate with branch personnel

    •    Assist with other billing department tasks

     

     

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

     

    •    A high school diploma or a GED.

    •    Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.

    •    Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

    •    Attention to detail and highly organized.

    •    Outgoing, self-starter with a team-oriented approach to success.

    •    Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook is a must.

    •    Requires the ability to operate a personal computer, multi-line phone, calculator, 10 key, and other basic office equipment.

    •    Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
