    OPPORTUNITY SNAPSHOT

     

    Digital Realty is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager of Creative and Design to lead and elevate the visual brand strategy, while developing creative campaigns, storyboards, style guides print and digital assets that inspire, engage and embrace our innovative solutions, and will report to the Director of Corporate Marketing.

    THE ROLE

     

    The ideal candidate is a passionate, strategic and creative lead with the capacity to take innovative visual brand development across all print and digital collateral, events, social media and web,. A self-motivated leader with skills that balance collaborative strategy, creative direction, visual storytelling, problem-solving, concept development, hands on creative design, timely execution and mentorship. In this role, the Senior Manager of Creative and Design will lead a small team of designers to help execute unique branding and creative strategies and campaigns for the Global Platform, Growth and Marketing Team. She/he has a proven track record of success in collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, events and sales, analyzing customer needs, brand improvements, and market trends in the overall competitive landscape. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the development and execution of inspiring branding strategies and campaigns
    • Define the brand and creative design vision, goals and priorities
    • Navigate all projects from initial outline, to the final visual design deliverable
    • Identify new ways to magnify our visual brand and apply compelling visual storytelling and graphic design
    • Define, document and launch clear and comprehensive brand and design guidelines (style guides, typography, color, iconography, imagery, etc.)
    • Lead, mentor and motivate the designers, and agencies to deliver a higher level of excellence, on time projects and within budget
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, events, sales and product owners to ensure alignment of visual brand and design campaigns across the global organization
    • Analyze customer needs, visual branding improvements, market trends and the overall competitive landscape to constantly keep raising the bar

     

    THE REQUIREMENTS

    • 6-10 years of experience in leading branding and creative design strategies, projects and campaigns in high-tech and B2B.
    • Strong portfolio of successful creative design campaigns
    • Extensive proficiency in creating projects from concept to delivery – inspiration, identity, color palette, typography, iconography, application, grid design, and imagery
    • Self-motivated, high energy, creative and passionate leader, visual storyteller who is a problem solver and a critical thinker
    • A creative person who challenges the status quo with unique design concepts and distinct visual brand enhancements
    • Strong writing and communication skills for inspiring design deliverables
    • Ability to present new campaigns and projects to the executive team and global organization
    • Experience in working with video production and photography studios directing photo shoots
    • Passionate about new digital and graphic design concepts
    • Flourishes in a fast-pace and feedback-driven organization
    • Knowledge of print and digital production, scheduling, vendor selection and budgeting
    • Knowledge of digital marketing and design including social, organic, and paid advertising, digital file generation, and digital marketing best practices
    • Strong attention to detail, professional communication, and organizational skills
    • A high degree of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs
