    Job Description Summary

    The Mortgage Disclosure Desk II supports mortgage related business strategies. The MDS II upon receipt of a new loan application request from Loan Consultant, will review for completeness and prepare disclosures accordingly.

    Job Details

    We trust that as a Mortgage Disclosure Desk II you will: (responsibilities)

    • Verifying the accuracy of loan system data integrity, loan related fees, reviewing loan terms and ensuring that all applicable disclosures are properly prepared and provided to the applicant(s) within a specified time-frame
    • Deliver the loan package directly to the client via electronic delivery or express mail delivery
    • Will monitor the return of the fully executed disclosure package to assure required regulatory compliance has been met Loan documents will be reviewed and validated prior to submission to processing for proper signatures, dates and ensuring all required disclosures have been received
    • If re-disclosure is necessary, the MDS II will validate the reason, review for accuracy and approve changes to fees resulting only from a valid change in circumstance as defined by RESPA
    • Will evaluate and prepare Change of Circumstance disclosures and Rate Lock disclosures for delivery to borrower(s)
    • You are willing to perform other duties as assigned

    About you:

    • High School or equivalent, College degree Preferred
    • Exceptional organizational skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Aptitude to learn quickly, problem solve and be challenged
    • Ability to use computer based programs and Microsoft Office products. Proficiency with standard computer applications
    • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, deadline driven, team environment
    • Desire to build upon existing knowledge and provide constructive ideas for process improvement
    • Proficiency with standard computer applications
    • Basic understanding of production process, loan documentation and regulatory requirements
    • Minimum 1 year mortgage experience in mortgage lending or related field

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    Will have responsibilities such as:

    • This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.

    • Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
