Job Description

The Closing Coordinator is responsible for administrative support to ensure closing occurs once a contract is fully executed by the Home Selling/Disposition Contracts team. The Closing Coordinator helps facilitate closing from signed contract to the close of escrow. The Closing Coordinator ensures all necessary documents are signed and completed in a timely manner. This position will work closely with other departments of the business to ensure the proper sell of a home.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Work closely with Title to ensure the a smooth close for the Buyer and Seller
• Work closely with the Buyer’s lender to ensure closing in a timely manner
• Sign and send contract addendums to the Title company
• Approve and send due diligence extension addendums to the Title Company
• Work closely with the Repairs team to help ensure repairs are being done and all credit addendums have been sent to Title and to the lender
• Resolve any HOA discrepancies
• Manage daily tasks and resolve inbound questions or requests timely
• Ensure all closing documents are correct and executed in a timely manner
• Ensure ownership has transferred to the buyer upon a successful closing
• Ensure compliance has all fully executed documents and a complete file ready to be audited

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong organization skills, accurate, and detail-oriented
• Strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
• Ability to operate in rapidly scaling, high-growth environment
• Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently to establish and manage work priorities, activities and timelines to achieve results
• Exhibits sound judgment and swift decision-making skills
• Exhibit strong attention to detail
• Ability to think creatively and come up with solutions
• Ability to critically review, summarize, and report findings and recommendations
• PC skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft environment and the ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information in a meaningful way.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous real estate experience a plus
