THE OPPORTUNITY

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Product Designer to join our internal tools team. As a Product Designer, you'll work on projects that have a large impact on the clinical side of One Medical. Reporting to the Design Manager, you'll be charged with creating designs that work for the customer, the business and technology. This is an opportunity to work on a product that is the heart and soul of our organization, supporting all providers (aka doctors) and administrative staff in our 80+ offices across the nation.

You are a committed team player who knows that great products are only delivered through building relationships and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. You thrive by solving complex problems from start to finish while ensuring every stakeholder is on board and working together. You're humble, focus on craft and quality, and have a get it done attitude!

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON: 

• Help to gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers and work effectively to ship designs
• Develop user flows and interface mocks
• Improve the UX of our internal health record system
• Prepare and conduct research as needed with internal and external stakeholders
• Partner with Product Management in creating strategy documents

YOU'LL NEED:

• 3+ years of product design experience in an agile environment, preferably in the healthcare or finance industry
• An online portfolio including  in-depth dives to several projects you've worked on, and your journey to the final solution
• Comfortable using Figma and Miro
• Interest in designing for a two-sided experience and ecosystem mapping
• Skilled at uncovering the root causes of difficult problems
• Ability to thrive working in small cross-functional teams with product managers, engineers, operations, clinical, and QA, among others
• Design capabilities leaning toward flows and interactions 
• A focus on human and value-centered design—you think about design decisions that drive the business forward while ensuring all customers get the best experience
