THE OPPORTUNITY

At One Medical we build software that our members use and all the software that our doctors and nurses use to deliver great care. This enables us to build amazing end-to-end solutions to connect patients and our care team in new and innovative ways. We are growing rapidly - building new offices, expanding to new markets, and providing new services (e.g. pediatrics) - and the Growth team is an integral part of our strategy.

As an engineer on the Marketing Team, you'll be expected to help us maintain and grow our front facing web application. Among content updates and third party integrations, you will also help grow our business through quick experimentation and feature development to drive membership conversions, retention, and engagement. In our highly collaborative environment, not only will you be working with the Marketing team, you'll also be partnering with other engineers and designers on our Growth team. You'll work throughout the technology stack and have responsibility for functionality our business relies on every minute of the day. 

This role is particularly well-suited for someone who values creating high quality web pages and user experiences, as well as someone who has a strong sense of ownership of their product. We are a collaborative and intellectually curious group. WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON: 

• Building website features that drive growth of engaged members and adhere to best practices for SEO and Accessibility
• Helping to maintain our CMS application built on Python, Django and Wagtail and multiple third-party integrations
• Publishing content to our website
• Building email campaigns through our marketing tool, Eloqua
• Running A/B tests and evaluating results using tools including Optimizely, Mixpanel and Google Analytics

YOU'LL NEED:

• 2+ years of software development experience in a high-performing engineering organization
• Experience working in modern full stack development environment
• Demonstrated proficiency with HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Communication and collaboration skills that allow you to successfully partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders

 YOU'LL BE SET UP FOR SUCCESS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience working with or in a Marketing team
• Experience with modern front end Javascript frameworks, preferably React
• Experience using popular SaaS-based email marketing platforms
