THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity! As part of the Revenue Cycle team, you will be a part of a multifaceted team dedicated to creating a world class billing experience for our members and ensuring that all patient visit revenue is accounted for. This is a fast-paced role, with opportunities to learn business processes and systems, interact with cross-functional stakeholders, and gain hands-on experience. 

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, people-oriented, and highly organized. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in a career in Healthcare Financial Accounting.

WHAT YOU'LL LIKELY WORK ON:

• Learning the full Revenue Cycle from patient registration through claims and billing
• Charge Capture, Accounts Receivable and Patient Financial Services
• Supporting business process improvement initiatives
• Supporting other tasks and projects, as requested

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Must have at least two years of university completed 
• An interest in auditing and/or compliance
• Growth mindset and desire to learn
• Attention to detail
• Good critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Excel

This is a paid hourly internship, 40-hour per week for at least eight weeks.  Our 2021 internship program is currently set up as a virtual internship (subject to change) in which interns can be located in any state that we operate in, however your core hours will align with the standard business hours for the team you are working with during your internship.
