  • Responsibilities

    The IFM Move and Furniture Project Manager will execute all tasks required to successfully complete individual and group moves, and decommissioning of furniture assets for major renovation or demolition of facilities. These activities include the following: coordination of all stakeholders required to implement the relocation of headcount across a regional campus; strict adherence to timelines by holding themselves and project stakeholders accountable and informed; partnering with suppliers, providing the client with exceptional quality and minimal disruption; assessing risk to the migration plan, and providing a mitigation strategy.

    ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develops and Manages scope, schedule and budget for successful delivery of move projects across a regional campus.

    • Oversees the execution phase of a project, to include coordination of all service providers. Tracks progress of projects against goals, objectives, timelines, and generates reports on status.

    • Effectively communicates/negotiates to and from the business divisions to gain approval of plans and projects.

    • Identify and communicate project risk. Ensures that communication is consistent between all project stakeholders.

    • Oversee and partner with suppliers/vendors to meet project deadlines and objectives.

    • Evaluates and ensures lab and specialized space needs are met during Migration and other projects.

    • Interfaces with clients to define project requirements. Establishes project work plan and deadlines.

    • Completes documentation and tool updates to:

    • Delivery Tracker

    • MS Space

    • Supervises and manages day to day activities of Associate Project Manager and Relocation Coordinators.

    • Leads and contributes process improvement initiatives.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of three to six years of related project. management experience and/or training is highly preferred.

    • Migration Management or Business Alignment Management Experience is highly preferred.

    • Occupancy Services experience & knowledge is highly preferred.

    • An in-depth knowledge of headcount move processes is highly preferred.

    • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint utilization and development is highly preferred.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Project Manager position is $85000 annually and the maximum salary for the Project Manager position is $100000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
