The Head of Talent Experiences & Gifting(UCAN) leads the strategy and execution of Netflix's talent experience programs across the U.S. and Canada. This role sits at the intersection of entertainment, culture, and creative storytelling, designing thoughtful moments that celebrate the artists and collaborators behind Netflix's films and series.
This leader oversees all talent gifting and experience programs across UCAN, ensuring each moment reflects Netflix's brand, values, and commitment to storytelling. From start of production through premieres, awards season, and major cultural events, the Head of Talent Experiences & Gifting shapes thoughtful experiences that deepen relationships with talent and create lasting impressions.
This role partners closely with teams across marketing, publicity, communications, policy, live events, ads, brand, and many others to identify moments where thoughtful gestures and well-timed gifting can strengthen relationships and support key moments across the business.
The UCAN Head of Talent Experiences & Gifting reports to the Global Head of Talent Experiences & Gifting and works closely with regional counterparts across EMEA, APAC, and LATAM to share ideas, scale programs globally, and evolve how Netflix celebrates its creative community.
Responsibilities
Ensure gifting initiatives align with broader business priorities and strategies, brand goals, and relationship objectives.
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the scope and impact of the Talent Experiences & Gifting function across the business.
Evolve the current UCAN regional gifting strategy across Productions, Awards, Live Events, and B2B.
Provide strategic oversight of all creative outputs across UCAN to ensure gifting reflects Netflix's brand identity, tone, and values.
Set the creative vision for innovative gifting and experiential initiatives that strengthen relationships with talent, collaborators, and business partners.
Apply deep knowledge of the UCAN market, including cultural nuances, logistics, and expectations around gifting and brand experiences.
Bring a strong understanding of the entertainment industry, talent experience, and studio environments.
Stay ahead of cultural, creative, and industry trends to ensure Netflix remains a leader in experiential and meaningful gifting.
Collaborate with the team's regional leaders to drive alignment across talent experiences, gifting strategies, processes, systems, and the adoption of new tools and technology.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to deliver a consistently high level of service and partnership across the organization.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Managers that values creativity, collaboration, accountability, and growth.
Foster a healthy and inclusive team culture by staying closely attuned to morale and engagement.
Provide clear direction, thoughtful feedback, and ongoing guidance to ensure consistent excellence across all workstreams.
Oversee the development of custom packaging and storytelling-led gift concepts that elevate brand perception and impact.
Partner with regional leaders to align on brand partnerships and gifting opportunities that can scale across multiple regions.
Manage agency, vendor, and warehouse relationships to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
Conduct regular reviews of agency and operational workflows, costs, and fees to maintain transparency and avoid surprises.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners that bring strong alignment, innovation, or added value.
Streamline workflows and processes to improve efficiency for both internal teams and external partners.
Leverage technology to enable global collaboration and support operational scalability.
Maintain clear, organized documentation across creative assets, vendor lists, and key contacts.
Adapt strategies to reflect local trends, audience preferences, and regional considerations.
Navigate compliance, tax implications, and vendor sourcing to ensure programs remain scalable and sustainable.
** ** Qualifications****
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $254,000.00 - $463,000.00.
Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
