    ABOUT THE ROLE

    CBRE@Google is seeking a Space Management Intern. Space Management involves auditing, tracking, and handling a company's physical space. Think floor planning, meeting room design, and seating allocations. While this may sound simple in concept, it can actually be more sophisticated in practice. Our intern will gain experience in data gathering, analysis and strategizing - instrumental in maintaining and extending the functionality of our data platforms and solutions.

    The intern’s role is responsible for partnering with team members on different projects and initiatives that support data efficiency. The intern must demonstrate self organization skills and willingness to learn new things, while relying on the experience and the collaboration of others to plan and achieve project goals.

    THIS IS A 3 MONTHS SUMMER INTERNSHIP

    POTENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work with team members to improve existing or build new reports, dashboards, following both formal and ad-hoc development practices

    • Troubleshoot data quality issues and work with team members to coordinate cleansing activities

    • Support ad-hoc tool/information system reviews and implementations

    • Document and maintain processes or training material as needed

    • Support Project Managers/Team members by organizing team meetings and communication, and maintaining and tracking project task/progress

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    The Space Management Intern is designed for results-oriented candidates with a strong academic background, preferably in business management. Applicants should be self-motivated, creative, disciplined, and exhibit a demonstrated interest in the commercial real estate industry.

    Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

    • Familiarity with G-Suite

    • Exposure to data analytics

    • Appreciation for technology and desire to learn new systems

    • Data entry experience or has taken an introduction to data class/program, is helpful.

The minimum salary for the Space Management Intern position is $25.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience
