    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategic Leadership: identify business opportunities, articulate experience vision and elevate our global influence through compelling storytelling that drives cross-function alignment.
    • Collaborative Facilitation & Partnership: Lead collaborative work sessions with stakeholders at all levels, fostering cross-functional partnerships that define and execute this new area of business.
    • Problem-solving in Ambiguity: Dive into complex, undefined spaces to synthesize information, simplify problems and develop user-centered design approaches that reflect fresh perspectives
    • Experience Innovation: Innovate to meet new business and member needs while designing scalable solutions that work across Netflix's global ecosystem
    • Member Advocacy: Champion the diverse needs of our global member base throughout your design process, ensuring that our new content experiences resonate across cultures and contexts

    Skills, Characteristics & Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience designing user experiences for consumer-facing products
    • Exceptional communication skills, whether in small group discussions, large-scale presentations, or with executives
    • Demonstrated creative and analytical writing skills
    • Known for developing language frameworks and strategies for discovery and engagement across multiple UI platforms, such as TV, mobile and web
    • Experience working on global products and partnering with Globalization
    • Comfortable moving between writing vivid copy, articulating the rationale behind word choices and drafting strategic internal documents.
    • Strong systems thinker, with proven ability to create or contribute to terminology systems and design systems and evolve them as business needs change
    • Experience collaborating with marketing and brand teams on promotion strategies/campaigns
    • Demonstrated success in driving 0-1 initiatives forward
    • Strategic thinker who can articulate a compelling product vision
    • Ability to dive into a space, gather context, synthesize, and make impact quickly
    • Demonstrates great judgement on asking the right questions and determining the work that needs to be done to push the business forward
    • Is a fierce advocate for the user, and has the courage to speak up and influence
    • Skilled at connecting the dots across related initiatives and fostering cross-functional collaboration
    • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and distilling complex, unstructured opportunities into actionable roadmaps that integrate user, technology, and business needs
    • Proven ability to deal with requirements from various teams, while not losing sight of long-term experience goals
    • Proficiency working within design tools, such as Figma
    • Great at receiving and giving feedback

    This role is based in the United States, ideally on the west or east coasts. Expect to travel monthly to meet with your teams, stakeholders, and partners.     Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $340,000.00 - $480,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location.

    Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
