    Job Description

    Description:

    The Development Team is responsible for ensuring client success by building scalable, cutting-edge enterprise solutions in a fast-paced environment. As a Software Developer you will work closely with the Development Team and Product Managers to build and enhance applications and components in our financial services product suite. You will gain fluency in capital market concepts and insight into the operations of investment management firms.     Responsibilities:

    · Design, develop, and test quality components, pages and applications using JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks

    · Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

    · Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle

    · Follow development best practices and coding standards, including setting up and maintaining builds and designing re-usable framework components

    · Innovate our current processes and tools, both internally and externally as our client base expands

    · Improve your knowledge of the financial services industry, especially as it relates to specific development assignments

    · Some travel to local client offices may be required

     

     

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related major

    · Experience building large web-based software solutions

    · 4 to 6 years of front-end development experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

    · Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)

    · Experience with C# or Java is preferred

    · Experience with MS SQL Server or other SQL database is preferred

    · Experience with Node.JS, NPM, and Webpack a plus

    · Experience with Source Control and CI/CD is preferred

    · Experience with unit testing frameworks is a plus

    · Experience with Typescript a plus

    · US Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

     

     

    Skills:

    · Financial services experience a plus (or a demonstrable interest in financial services)

    · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    · Ability to communicate effectively, work in a team environment, and interact with end users

    · Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities

    · Self-motivated, self-starter, and challenge-seeker
